Mutti Baby Roma tomatoes

This is an import product. I wanted to try their tomatoes since I am insanely crazy about their triple concentrate paste. These are superb tomatoes for sauces and stews. Simple ingredients: Tomatoes 60% Tomato Juice 40%. That is it, nothing else added.

They still have peels on them, so if you don't like the peeling you have to peel. Personally, it does not bother me.

What I like the best about these tomatoes is they are completely vine ripened before they are canned. They a bursting with flavor and perfect sweetness. Adding the cans to sautéed vegetables and very hot olive oil bring the sweetness to the perfect level. No need to add additional sugar to anything when using these tomatoes.

I am all about minimal with ingredients. These are reserved only for authentic Italian and Italian American recipes that call for tomatoes.
