Dom Deluis Eat This Cook Book

I love all the recipes and I also have his second book called ,"Now Eat This". I love them both because his family cooks the real Italian old, traditional ways and the recipes don't call for a lot of weird ingredients like some of the cook books today.

I picked up this book years ago, having been a long time fan of Dom. As soon as you open it, you can't put it down. Dom brings you into his life and times as it centered around his mother, family and friends and with the delicious food they all prepared. Each page contains several mouth-watering recipes that you will want to try. I love Mama's Marinara and Sunday Sauce and the Eggplant Roll Ups. But seriously, every recipe is wonderful as are the great stories behind them. I highly encourage everyone to add this fantastic cook book to your collection. I know I won't be parting with mine anytime soon, as ragged and stained it now is! Ciao!

I have both of Dom's cook books. I got them years ago. I have made the escarole soup many times and I like that it has simple recipes and simple ingredients. I also really love the stories and pictures. When ever I make a recipe from the cook book I always think of him. He was the funniest comedian.
